April 29 hosta progress report

Hostas on my check list to look for : 210 plus some seedlings

Hostas I’ve actually looked for so far : 128

The rest are in spots that are hard to get to without risk of stepping on other plants or in spots I’ve just not gotten to yet.

Hostas found from that 128: 81 or 63.2%

Some of the hostas I've looked for are coming up under crocus foliage. A great many are just starting to appear and were found only by feeling around. I expect I didn't look in quite the right spot for some of them. I found quite a few that I was unable to find 5 days ago. Hurray!

I'll try to look for more later this weekend.
Ann

Pictures of all my hostas, updated annually and tracked since 2008 begin at: https://violaann.smugmug.com/G...
