It is about the only thing that I think is truly lacking. It is on the list of improvements that Dave wants to make, but I'm not sure when he will get to it. The way I've been handling noids is by using the generic plant db entry. You can add your photo to the generic iris entry in the plant db, and then I think it will be the one that shows in your own plant list. It gets clunky when you have several different iris noids though - you can't add the same generic iris plant db entry multiple times to your list, so all your noids have to be associated with just the one entry. There was some discussion on the site talk forum about this and the ways that people were trying to make it work for them, but I don't remember the specifics. I think some people were just picking different cultivar plant db entries so that they would have one entry per noid in their list and then putting something in the comments section about it really being a noid and not the named cultivar. Like I said, kind of clunky and I really hope Dave gets to that enhancement one of these days.

I agree That's one improvement I'm hoping to see someday, too, Terri! I like how you've used the category feature--I don't think I've explored that option well enough. I have an Excel file of all my plants that I've kept over the years that contains lots of specific info I can sort by when I need certain kinds of info, but it's not ideal to track in both my excel file *and* in the plant list! Two things I really like about the plant list over my excel file: thumbnail photos for each plant (yay), and the opportunity to add specific event info--eg when something blooms.
