Update for today. I got all the hostas in pots that were wintering in my veggie garden dug up and they are looking good. I've also modified my list to be 211 plus a host of seedlings and plants set aside last autumn for the May plant sale. Most everything is looking good though it's still a bit early for some of them. I'm not sure about my Baby Bunting family which I left in their large plastic pot. Not sure it was adequately covered with unscreened compost, but we'll see. The tally at the moment is 211 looked for and 151 found (71.6%). A very large proportion of those not found are under crocus foliage and it's hard to see where they could be or they are in a large hosta garden and the risk of stepping on a plant at this time of year is too high to venture into the middle of it. Others are traditional late comers. Nothing in my garden is yet unfurled though my 'First Frost' is getting close.

It's supposed to rain tomorrow and Monday and we need it. I'm hoping that some moisture will spur on the growth. BTW, I've got one pot of some healthy hosta but have no idea what it is. I hope I recognize it once it unfurls. Sticking tongue out
Ann
