Daylilies(Hemerocallis) and lilies(Lilium) are two completely different species so they should look completely different and that is okay. Unless you wrote lilies and that was short for daylilies, because then you obviously have a problem. Daylilies are planted shallow with the foliage above ground and the crown just bellow soil, but lilies are planted with the tip of the bulb 4-6 inches deep Smiling
