You would need some kind o flat plastic or metal tray to fan out the flow so it is wider. I have seen these as a display not sure how long a wooden piano would hold up outside in the weather getting wet from the fountain I have seen some very interesting ways to use old pianos on pinterest. Do a search for old piano ideas and you will find shelves, bookcases and wall hangings.
