Interesting, Elaine! We have a tall feeder with a squirrel baffle - before I added the baffle they would sit on the feeder and empty all the containers in super fast time. It was quite cute to see, their little bellies would get rounder and rounder, a bit like men's beer bellies! But the idea was to feed the birds... So now I let the squirrels eat from the feeder in most of the photos, but not from the tall one. I prefer that they eat birdseed than that they dig up and eat my tulips/irises, etc! And when they have babies, the little ones are SO cute to watch.
That woodpecker is tricky to spot - but I found it - nice shot!
