Pat,
So sorry to see all the damage. These storms have been brutal across the south.

I got caught up in a thunderstorm this evening while cleaning the filter on my koi pond. I really had no choice except to continue once the lightening started...the pump had to be turned back on due to the temperatures we've had, and it was getting dark. Twenty-five minutes of lightening while you're cleaning with a hose next to a pond is not fun!

Crossing my fingers that your plants will recover and bloom later this summer Crossing Fingers! . Thankfully we live in the south, so at least we have a long enough growing season to see possible rebloom.

I'm certainly no expert, but I believe I would cut off any partial scapes that are already snapped (ones with no blooms left). This way the plant can focus on growing and not put any more energy toward the damaged scape. Maybe someone else with more knowledge will chime in...

Hope the storms move on and don't cause you any more damage.
