Hi, I have about a 2 year old spider plant and its growing rapidly. Its sent of 3 spiderettes, one is cut off and growing separately and the other 2 are still attached and relatively small (one is developing roots and cannot be seen in the photo as is the other side). Anyways, over the past couple of weeks I have been watching a thick about 1cm in diameter round shoot coming from the base of the plant grow, its now about 3 ft high and has random patches off leaves coming off it. I have never had a spider plant before so haven't seen this. It looks nothing like the other shoot its sent off, its much bigger. I just want to know if its a rogue shooting and if so should I remove it and how? or should I leave it and why? Thank You!!!
