I actually first went through the catalogue and then picked some at random that I liked ( and that in reality looked much better than on sempervivum-liste.de). Otherwise I'd still be there selecting...
too much of a selection can be exausting and I didn't want to keep Martin longer than necessary in the light spring rain that was starting.
Afterwards I went through Raidwangen by foot before heading home and discovered quite some front yards with rock piles and different types of semp in them - it seems like Martin's passion is contagious...
Good eye, Lynn, there are actually some rosularia and orostachys and other non-semps in the first rows on the second foto. Anything else was just semps, rollers and heuffs.
Tomorrow I willl try to take some good fotos of the two 'sunburst' rosettes I got. It seems like their brightest season is nearly passed and they go into normal looking colour phase. The bright center is getting smaller every day and green is starting off in the very center.
