Fred, I've never had a hail storm in my yard before, and the damage is worst than I initially thought. I had scapes broken that I didn't even know were there. This is depressing after waiting all winter for spring to see new blooms. I bought quite a few new plants last fall and was anticipating those blooms this spring. The foliage which I'm sure will recover looks like they've been through a meat shredder on some of the plants. All is not lost, I see a few scapes still standing and most of my plants have not scaped yet.

Well, I'm counting my blessings as some of the fallen tree damage has been massive. Some families lost their homes due to the storm. A huge oak tree split a home completely in half not too far from me. I never lost power and all of my trees are still standing.
