I agree with others: I think it looks pretty good for a builder/landscaper. I particularly like the arrangement with the walkway going between the plantings (ie that little island bed). One thought I have is that you may find those shrubs have been planted too closely together. I can't tell what they are (variegated schefflera among others??) so I don't know their eventual size. You may discover in a few years that you will have to thin them out. The other thought I have is that the garden bed might look better if it followed the contours of the walkway....rather than going opposite to it. But, realistically that would be a LOT of work to change it & I am not even sure if it would still look good from the road.
