@AlanJ, my hound is a 12 pound 3/4 poodle, but he's bigger than the squirrel, and very fast. Did you know squirrels actually scream when being chased by the hound? I've got a caboodle of seed pots out and if the squirrel is intimidated by the dog the birds are not.
Can't complain too loud about how the ball bounces when I'm the one who dropped it.
