Thanks Kate. I know another problem of mine is that the soil washes away (and blows away) from the top, leaving some of the roots exposed. Hopefully, I have fixed that with a top layer of stones. I have put some in the ground, and they are doing really good, but then the moles dig them up, and perinneal weeds are a problem. I'll get it someday.
