Love your succulent bowl JR! I find that during summer the partial sun/shade helps the succulents endure the intense dry summer heat when it arrives. In my area, direct sun would have easily fried some of my succulents if not for the shade from our city trees. My location is more inland so it is really hot and dry here by then. But this year's spring has been really mild so succulents are having a good time!
