Very interesting Wolfgang. I look forward to seeing your odd seedling become an adult rosette. Hope it is something really special.

I have seedlings from when my 'Oddity' bloomed. The blooms were very odd, and the pollen didn't look viable.

They sure were some odd looking blooms.
I tried to pollinate it with anything that was blooming at the time. The result was two seedlings, both of which are normal looking at this time as two year old plants.
I just went out and took this photo of the two plants. The smaller one kept trying to die, but is now healthy.
