Now that's funny, Neil! They do make mosquito repellent that actually works, but it wears off and I always forget to reapply. Often it is greasy and stinky, too! Frogs help keep them under control. I need more frogs! (Well on my way to frog pest control with thousands of tadpoles in my ponds currently! LOL!
