You may want to repost your request in the Vines and Climbers Forum (scroll down in the forum list on the home page) where you will find experts on this topic.

In the meantime, I just happened to have some suggestions for flowering shade vines I collected some years ago (I'm roughly in the same Zone as you). Ones I tried are marked with *, best with **, rated for heavy shade#.
Actinidia (Kiwi Vine), Celastrus, Vitacilla Clematis#, Hydrangea petiolaris#**, Lathyrus latifolius, Lonicera sempervirens**, Persicaria polymorpha*, Wisteria siensis or floribunda.

Although we're in CT now, both my wife and I came from Ohio (she's from Defiance) so I've been in Toledo many times. Good luck with your trellis.
