I just found this thread, thanks!

I discovered the Rosy Wolf Snail in the yard and am thrilled. Sure does explain how and why the slugs have disappeared.

In places where they have been introduced they are not such a good thing but here in their native territory - southeastern US - they are very much appreciated.
