Welcome Tommy. If you could upload a picture or two, that would be helpful - one in red phase, one in white. Just click on the "upload an image" below. I don't know of any rhodies that change color mid-stream, but perhaps it is a trait that was bred into them. Or, do you happen to know the cultivar of your rhodie? If so, you could go to our database and see if anything is mentioned about color changing. I do know they like acidic soil and some amount of shade.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
