Aldersgate is not winter hardy here so I have it in a 5 gallon pot that I bring in each winter.
Most likely due to indoor stress it tends to bloom short for me.
Flowers are huge! Increase is medium- slow.
Pollen is good, never tried setting a pod. I have a few seedlings from it that are hardy here ( most were not and died their first winter) Tends to pass the dark chevron eye.
