Database information says the leaves and seeds of Blue Cohosh (Caulophyllum thalictroides) are poisonous but mentions nothing about contact dermatitis. I too wonder if perhaps Poison Ivy (Toxicodendron radicans) might be growing amongst the Blue Cohosh or somewhere very close by?
