It was 80 in the sun according to my outdoor monitor in the middle of the yard yesterday. And it felt like it also. I have one bed uncovered now (raised) and when I am done hardening stuff off I will uncover the other two. Bought some 'outdoor' tomatoes one of which is called Siberian Tomato. Hope they will work. Still have to figure out a way to grow peppers though. A large tub with a hoop cover is about all I can come up with.

Harvested some Pak Choi a day or so ago. I had marked on the calendar that I had harvested my first lettuce about this time last year so I am on track. Only this year I have done succession planting so I have seedlings looking good for lettuce planted last fall, stuff that grew in the garage for use now (sparingly). Same with brocs and kale. Hope to have a good year for them. Squash will go out for hardening today then into large partially buried pots that sit about 18-24" above ground. Need to rig something for them to climb as they grew out of the pots last year and all but covered the path between beds. Angel
