It is quite simple really, IMO. You drag your mouse creating a rectangle. Insert text - type In your message, chose font (which you will leave alone after you find one you like,) color, size - again things you will probably not change later. If it isn't big enough (for example) hit edit undo. Do it right once and it is very easy the next time. Gene
