I planted this one in August last year as a double fan from a pot. I wonder if it was frequently watered in the huge outdoor nursery from which it came. I think it was somewhat neglected in its' travel to my garden. I just checked and there are 4 fans out of the ground right now albeit shorter fans than any of the others around it. I am just happy it survived. Of course, I have not seen a bloom.
And I have just edited this to say the plant sold as Ageless Beauty to me is actually blooming a white bloom. Obviously not the right plant. Northland nursery are not carrying it this year so gave me a free fan of Freaky Tiki. I'll wait to see if it is the correct plant. Disappointed!!
