It's a interesting idea and I'll look forward to seeing how it works out. I wonder about over-wintering. The worms would not overwinter outdoors in my area. That means I would have to bring the tower in and it would be in the basement for the season without any plants. I also wonder about how the castings get collected out of a system like that. I have a worm condo that consists of 3 tiers and I rotate the tiers and collect the castings for my garden out of the tier that's most processed. It works great! How would the tower compare?
