At first glance I would say No, to it being an Adenium. The cut end of the branch shows quite a wide cambium layer of tissue and not much core. This is not typical. The one leaf that is visible looks like it could be from an adenium, but the stem of leaf is so long and Chlorotic that it makes me dubious.
Reading what Alli has said about negligible light or sun, cool would definitely lead to poor grow.

I do not think that this plant has much room for success unless extreme measures and the requirements are met for good healthy growing of Adeniums.
Just my thoughts.
