My 'Uncle Sams' certainly didn't like the cold---all bent over this morning. Lilies won't grow back if they're pointed more that 45 degree angle downward like that. I tied these back up a little so hopefully they'll recover. These were part of the "Spirit of 76' Trumpet collection sold by B&D at one time. They shoot about a two foot stem before spreading leaves. More or less a novelty here,, I thought you'd like to see these turkey necks..
Busy making notes and taking pictures of frost damage among seedling lots. Some affected more than others and I record that to the history of each. The Div. VI material was affected the most. LAs and OTs and Asiatics were not affected nearly as much. Those in the pictures I posted earlier this morning recovered nicely.
26 and 27' F were my low temp readings this morning.
