I live in the Piedmont of NC.. Sone 7b.. Some pockets 7a.

At one time I had a 4 x 4 very dense yew and this unknown would grow right up through it -- every year like clockwork. Impossible to "pull." Well, we yanked the yew.....ground out its roots...and I thought that would be the end of this pest. Planted a row of gaura in its place.

Since I could not yank it, I used to clip it...and have brushed it several times with Brush B Gone.. but it persisted.

Thanks.

Any idea what it is?

Don't squat with yer spurs on!

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved
