I didn't take it that way and I totally get the empty nest thing. I have been there myself - I am looking forward to tomorrow, I am meeting my son for breakfast.
I love the garden critters and the pond critters. The only thing that I didn't like was when we had a muskrat discover our pond and I was more concerned about the muskrat ruining my liner.
