@daisyl City of Houston TX doesnt care about free-standing basketball hoops in frint of homes or parked cars on the street for any length of time unless there is restrictive signage. However, our city deed restricts the basketball hoops and parking in the street for more than 24 hrs. But we can have "pretty" solar panels, too.
