2 of the 3 roses ordered from RVR have been planted, but only after I made 2 fruitless trips to
Home Depot and CVS, both of whom were listed as carrying Evelyn's VF11. I settled for organic
bone meal and organic rose and flower food, plus some organic composted manure (not Black
Kow, as I couldn't find anyone to help load a bag onto my cart and it's too heavy for me to lift).

Came home, tilled up the spots, put the products in the large holes and planted those babies,
watering well. Today the rains are coming and should be here most of the week. An excellent
start for the roses, the daylily and iris I also planted!
I think that if ever a mortal heard the voice of God it would be in a garden at the cool of the day. ~F. Frankfort Moore, A Garden of Peace
