Welcome from the Pacific NW, hope you enjoy this site. I can't speak to the toxicity of your plants other than to suggest you search 'canna toxicity' etc. to see what you find out. Another approach might be to plant things that are actually OK to eat - lettuce, nasturtium, strawberries, etc. No worries that way and there are some beautiful edibles. I always encouraged my kids and grandchild to walk around with me and pointed out which plants to sample (I have a large herb garden) and which ones to stay away from.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
