I see it's very similar to Tradescantia Virginiana but I'm not seeing any T Virginiana with burgundy and green leaves. It's not often I get to go exploring while working but every chance I get I enjoy walking through the woods and along the woods edge because this is where I often find the largest diversity of plants. This plant stood out among knee high grass and would look good in a home garden also especial if there is a hardy variegated variety floating around. Thanks so much for helping me solve this mystery Leslieray.
