I went back and checked the opening date last year, and it's two days later then last year. The first to open last year was Raspberry Swirl. That one has some color showing this year, but will be a couple days yet before it opens. Looking around yesterday, I can see that there are bloom stalks on most of my irises. Now baring any stalks rotting off, I should have a nice bloom season. Crossing Fingers! I did find one stalk split off yesterday, not rot, just split off. It's down to 32 here this morning again.
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
