Non GMO compost makes sense to me. I have been reading about how much the information in GMOs can be redirected. You don't want to grow plants that can't read! Hardwood sawdust for compost--watch out for black walnut. I ruined a bunch of lilies by using black walnut sawdust in the soil where I planted them.
