I was visiting my parents in North Carolina last week when I concluded that the "Thelma's" that Leslie & Gabe were talking about was just under an hours drive away. So I suggested to my mother (the source of my iris "condition") that we go. Very little arm bending was employed Green Grin!

I wanted to take pictures of everything that was blooming, but I had other commitments later in the day in South Carolina, so we only spent about three hours there. Taking pictures slowed me down as to seeing them all and deciding what to buy. Thelma is 95 years young. I did not see/meet her, but heard she was out on her "Golf Cart" the day before supervising a weeding effort!

I may go back in July and get more, but not sure. It depends on how long they will be around. My guess is that they will not do anything this year so I would expect a 2017 bloom season. Who knows.

I took tag pictures and then pictures of the plants. The tag has the row number and the row position of the cultivar. This info is what they use to dig.
