Super bug is right, Tom Glare . I had "visitors" in the garden, most of the day (they showed up about 8:30, and left about 1;30)....the County Extension, her "Superior " from the University, and two gals from the "master gardener" program........we dug, inspected, sampled , dug some more, took soil tests, took soil samples , and bagged about 30 iris (or , the 'remains" of 30 iris) for lab testing at the University.....they all agreed there is a "problem", each one postulated a different cause....which , after much discussion....were mostly all rethought, and changed at least twice.....so, after I get the report from the lab at the University (and probably mortgage the house to pay the bill Sticking tongue out ), I *hope* to be presented with both a positive ID on the culprit, and a *cure*.........but, Shrug! who knows !
