The bud count on mine was 23 buds (though a small few dropped off) on what appears to be 5 branches (not including the "V" branching at the very top). I am curious to see if it re-blooms for me. The blooms are really pretty.

I do think some cultivars may be more prone to thrips. I have other plants near it not showing any or very little thrip damage. Something about that plant seems to attract thrips. I may have to use the Spinosa insecticidal soap again. Here are some tips about treating for thrips: http://www.planetnatural.com/p...
The Spinosa insecticidal soap seems to work well against the thrips on that plant. Thumbs up
