Oh JoAnn that is funny.

I love the stuff. Those coir hanging pots are death traps if you do not use something to keep them moist.

When I was working I traveled every week. I was out of town 250 days a year. I would come home to dead plants on my patio. That was when I started using the diapers in the bottom of the coir pots. It works... you do not place them on top of the soil you open the fabric that holds the moisture and place the plastic part next to the coir and put your soil on top and then plant. Once a week watering and the plants stay moist.

Once I was out of town for two weeks and we had 90 degree temps and the soil did not dry out.
