I was just wondering.... When my hens hatched out youngsters, they seemed ok to stay with mom. I did not realize Geese would need extra care? Know nothing about waterfowl....only the basics about hens. Then again, we live on the Mason Dixon line and it probably doesn't get as cold here as where you are. (PS: I love reading your journal)
