Beautiful gardens Joanne, I really like the African Daisies and they are a bit pricey to buy. I should try to grow some from seeds next year.
The local Hobby Greenhouse Assoc I belong to does a group buy each year for annual plant plugs. I do start seeds but most of my annuals are very small plugs that have already been started. This bed has marigolds and zinnas that I grew from plugs. The marigolds are huge beautiful cream colored things. I made the mistake of planting several of them in front of the zinnas. I thought the zinnas would grow taller but they didn't. I have some small shrubs, perennials, canna and morning glories growing in this bed with the annuals filling in for color.
