Welcome Kae! You might start by clicking on the Plant Database and simply searching for 'dianthus' - which will pop up with a good sized listing, many with photos. When one catches your eye, open that entry and if you are lucky there will be additional information (zones, heights, etc), more photos, and perhaps even a multi-photo or two which lets you see how well that cultivar plays with others. Sounds like a fun project.
