The biggest manroot ever. Smiling They are called "Manroots" for a reason. Find something that resembles a weird cucumber vine with prickly friuts. Marah fabaceus is listed as occuring in Arroyo Grande.

I don't think I have ever seen a root that big. I tried to grow one in a hanging basket one time. It soon became apparent that a hanging basket was insufficient to the task.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost
