I am in southeast Florida and most of mine are hanging on a tree where it gets sun but it is also filtered by branches full of leaves. I currently have a trelis that I put some catts on. The trelis is located in a spot where it gets morning sun and has shade in the afternoon. It's currently an experiment as I am not sure if that spot has too much sun. I probably water more then most due to heat and sun and lately I only pot with bark or bare root.
