I haven't even thought about looking at the WCSP website, in fact it hadn't yet occurred to me there was a website available to the general public. Thanks for the tip, I might get around to having a look.
I started to look through the 1840 document linked to on the IPNI very late last night/early this morning to see what I could find. I'm not sure that is the correct volume quoted, must go back and look again.
I don't know who is correct, one has to be wrong. Finding out which is maybe going to take the rest of our lives.
