Karen, it is its second year here. It is about 1.5 feet tall. I usually give any tree peony a few years, at least three to settle in to be a blue to make a good judgement on form of flower, height and flower placement. It has been hot here (in the 80s) and somewhat humid. That flower has been open 4 days and seems to be doing well. The colors are really nice as it the flower form, in my opinion, so far. The petals are pretty sturdy (this definitely varies in peonies in general) thus helps them withstand things (weather ex. heat, rain, wind), I think.
