Debra, I don't know what type of light/fan/globe they are replacing but if it is anything like this

All you will need is this

use the wire to go around the top of the little bulb and to make a bail. take the stake off the smallest solar light and drop it in and it should look like this

But at night in your garden it will look like this.... only better.

I put them on short shepherd hooks in big pots and hang them from tall crepe myrtle limbs. They are gorgeous hanging inside a big arbor with blossoms falling about them. You could line a walkway, fence, path, or even put them in a garden room or porch if they got enough sunlight to recharge the solar light.

New fan looks fan...... tastic!
