Hi Evan, Thanks for your note. You said, "Sida filicaulis as a synonym to Spreading Fanpetals (Sida abutifolia)". Since there isn't a photo to compare mine to, I'm asking for your help. This little plant grows all over my property in the hill country of central Texas. Enquist lists two in his book, Sida filicaulis (Sida procumbens) and Lindheimer's Sida (Sida Lindheimeri). The one in my pasture has the shorter leaves so I leaned toward filicaulis. Because I don't want to post a photo that's incorrect, would you please verify that this would qualify as an abutifolia. Thanks for your time.
