Welcome! to NGA

Liatris spicata (Gayfeather) comes in pink and white. The bottom of the corm shouldn't be more than two inches down. They don't need any soil enrichment but the soil does need to be well draining.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost
