Barbalee - I agree, this is my favorite thread(s) topics on the daylily forum - the seedling blooms! It boggles the mind what can be created by crossing cultivars and seedlings.
The program I use to make the Pedigree Charts is Scrapbook Factory Deluxe Version 5.0 :

It is not a downloadable program though and I don't know if it works on the newer operating systems (I have Windows 7). It is a program I love and use all the time which I've had for a number of years. Included with the program are templates including Family Tree templates (of which I used one as a base to create the Pedigree Charts for my daylily seedlings). It's fully customizable. The software comes in CD form, so one would need a CD reader on their computer.
You would think someone would come up with a computer software program that creates Pedigree Charts which are similar to what I have created. I am sure such software would sell if it could be used for more than just plants. I can customize the program to create a Family Tree or Pedigree Chart for pretty much anything. And it could easily be sold as a downloadable program without all the bells and whistles that this particular program has.
I saw Maryott's Pedigree Charts on their website several years ago and that is where I got the idea to create my own. I tried numerous times to contact Maryott's Daylilies to find out what program they use and never got a response. I suspect that it is a custom program designed exclusively for them.
